Foot Measuring Guide

Ordering footwear online store is not always easy. To help you find the right size we've added some instructions below. The quick guide will help you find your size, saving time, money and helps nature.

Step 1

Mark the longest part of your feet.

  1. Place a piece of paper against a wall
  2. Stand with your full weight on the paper with your heel touching the wall
  3. Draw both feet on the paper. You can also ask a friend to draw your feet for you.
Step 2

Measure the longest point of your feet.

  1. Using a ruler or tape measure, measure the length of each of your feet in millimetres (mm) from the heel to the longest point of the toes.
  2. The longest point may be your big toe or another toe.
  3. Next, add approx. 7 mm to the reading you get. Add up to 10 mm if you want to use a wool sock. For Sandals add only 2-4mm).
  4. Compare the reading with the "Inner shoe length" measurements in the product information. Note lengths varies by shoe.
Kara ankle boot

Example

If your right foot measures 239 mm and your left foot measures 241 mm, use the longer measurement (241 mm) and add ~7 mm for comfort, totalling 248 mm.

Compare this length to the size chart for the specific product.

For this length, select size 38 in the KARA ankle boots (the KARA size 38 has an internal length of 250 mm).

Please note: Pomar footwear generally offers a roomier fit than typical European sizing, providing extra space around the heel and toes. If a product specifies a wide last, there is additional room for comfort.

Most Pomar shoes feature removable insoles, allowing you to customise the fit by swapping for a thinner or thicker insole to gain or reduce space for added comfort as needed.
